Grade Wars

Last night the red team finished off their three week conquest to become Grade Wars champions. It was an awesome battle and the Black/White almost pulled the upset, but the red team proved to be too much. We had a huge crowd last night and it was awesome to see some students coming in and connecting to each other. So WhirlyBall awaits for our first champions this Friday Night. It will be a great time for a well earned victory.

40 Days of Summer Update

We are 10 days into 40 days and it has been awesome. From Camp to Fuze to Sports Picks we have had a blast hanging out together. Don’t miss out on everything else we have this summer. We have Girls night Friday, paintball Saturday (Beware I am a Ninja), and the 10th Grade on Sunday at my house. Anyway check out the calendar on the student page on the MLC site.

Fuze – Installment 1

Well the first one is in the books and I think it went rather well. We had great attendance and the worship was great and Deal/No Deal was fun. We had three students want to commit their lives to Christ and that is why we do what we do. All in all I thought the first one was great.

We have a ton of stuff comming up in the next few weeks so make sure you sign up for Girls Night, Paitball or Six Flags. We are also playing some sports this week at Central Park at 4:00. Don’t miss out cause it will rock.

A new era begins….

Vacation

We are gone…I will be on vacation for the next week so don’t look for a whole lot of updates. I am going to invest in my famliy and stay off the computer as a gift to my wife for Mother’s Day. I am not taking my phone either so good luck leaving me a mesage. I love all y’all, but this week it is about the fam.

40 Days of Summer

This is going to be one awesome summer. We are going to do a ton of stuff that allows us to hang out together and really connect to each other. This kicks off may 24th with a huge pool party and some football and slip-n-slides and just a ton of huge fun. You do not want to miss this event. I will have details on Sunday so do not miss Amp’d or Shift as we celebrate WOW together.

Action packed weekend

We have been all over the place this weekend. From Columbus to Raider Island here in Forsyth, we have been running for two straight days. It has been great and I have some thoughts from what we have experienced that I will no doubt blog about over the next few days, but right now I am just going to chill in the house for a few minutes.

No Shave April

That’s right, I have only shaved once in the month of April. If you have seen me this week I look like a mangy dog because I can’t really grow facial hair, but it feels good to try.

Let’s have some fun

Dude student ministry is fun. If your not having fun you are doing it wrong. I love hanging out with students and just getting to know them and asking them questions that make them hate me. One of the greatest experiences in my life will always be hanging out in some crazy place with students. This summer is going to be fun. We are going to be together all summer and love it. We are also hanging out at Andrew’s house this Sunday night and watching some pointless movie. I love it.
